We've teamed up with The Felix Project

< Back

Our love for London has no boundaries and that includes every person who chooses to live and breathe here. Week upon week, we feed over 100,000 people with our healthy delicious food and when we shut our doors at the end of the day, the feasting continues thanks to our new charity partner.

The Felix Project are a relatively new charity who aim to reduce food waste and food poverty. Since launching in 2016, they have served over 16.5 tonnes of food to 77 charities, feeding a remarkable 17,000 individuals every week.

At the end of the day, a team of loyal and dedicated volunteers pop round to Pod to collect our leftover food and deliver it to homeless shelters across London, ensuring that as few people as possible go without a good meal for the day.

It is estimated that in Britain we threw away 10 million tonnes of food last year. At Pod, we are eager to help reduce this scandal of wasting fresh and nutritious food, while still delivering the freshest food possible to our customers, day in day out. Via The Felix Project, our nutritious food is now landing in the hands of multiple charities, including; the homeless, people suffering from mental illness, women in refuges, children, and the elderly.

Keep a look out for The Felix Project volunteers riding and driving about on Pod cargo bikes and in their smart new van in the evenings and give them a smile and a wave.
